The goal of this paid social campaign operated on META is to promote the download of the Decathlon Outdoor app. The campaign targets 10 departments and is activated only in good weather (sunny or cloudy) based on the day’s weather, to optimize advertising spend through a media purchase trigger. Users who already have the app are excluded.
Two campaign configurations are set up: one for Apple users (redirecting to the App Store) and one for Android users (redirecting to the Play Store).
The DCO scenario uses two types of creatives (static and carousel), updated daily based on weather forecasts. The banners, displayed only in good weather, show personalized information based on the user’s location and weather conditions, including the number of possible hikes in their department.
